This document sets out the terms and conditions for using the silicagel.ro website, operated by CHIMGRUP SRL. By accessing and using the site, you agree to these terms.

1. Definitions and terms used

• Operator / Company — CHIMGRUP SRL, with the identification details above.
• Site — the website available at silicagel.ro, including its subpages.
• User / Visitor — any person who accesses the site.
• Content — all information on the site: text, images, diagrams, logo, structure and tools (including the sizing calculator).
• Quote request — the request submitted by the user through the form or contact details, in order to obtain a commercial offer.

2. Acceptance of terms

By accessing and using the site, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

3. Purpose of the site

The site presents ChimGrup's products and services (silica gel and humidity-control solutions) and allows quote requests to be submitted. The site is not an online shop; orders and prices are set through an individual commercial offer.

4. User obligations and rights

As a user, you undertake to:

• use the site lawfully and in accordance with these terms;
• provide correct and current information when submitting a quote request;
• not take actions that could affect the operation, security or integrity of the site;
• not infringe the intellectual property rights of the company or third parties.

You have the right to access and use the public information on the site and to request quotes or information through the contact channels provided.

5. Intellectual property

The site's content (text, images, diagrams, logo, product names, structure) belongs to CHIMGRUP SRL or is used under licence and is protected by copyright and industrial property law. Reproduction, distribution or use of the content without the company's written consent is not permitted.

6. Informative nature. The sizing calculator

The information on the site, including the results of the sizing calculator, is indicative and does not constitute a warranty or a contractual specification. Final sizing and technical recommendations are confirmed by the ChimGrup team, based on the actual conditions of the application.

7. Limitation of liability

We make efforts to keep the information correct and current, but we do not guarantee the absence of errors or interruptions in the operation of the site. ChimGrup is not liable for any damage resulting from the use of indicative information without prior confirmation from the technical team, nor for indirect damage resulting from the inability to access the site.

8. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to perform its obligations if this is due to a force majeure event — an external, unforeseeable and unavoidable event beyond the reasonable control of the party (for example natural disasters, fires, floods, conflicts, restrictions imposed by authorities, interruptions of communication or power networks). The affected party will notify the other party as soon as possible.

The site may contain links to third-party sites. We do not control and accept no responsibility for their content or policies.
